updating....finally!!!

hi there!

It's been a while since I last posted something in here, so today I decided to put it up to date. Here is a summary..

After my last post I was very busy getting ready to participate in Open Studios in New Haven...this happened the first weekend in October. Sorry I couldn't tell you before... It went well. I met many interesting people
and wonderful artists, one of them is Sikiu Perez (check her blog at sikiu-perez.blogspot.com). She happened to be right next to me, along with other three artists, one photographer and two incredible painters. In the whole building we were 15 artists in total. Overall it was a great experience and best of all we've got to enjoy this fabulous view for the whole weekend:

Just, breath taking!!!

In conjunction with Open Studios, Artspace, which is the gallery that organizes the event, had a juried process for the exhibition that has been at their location ever since the Kick-off of Open Studios and will be on display until December the 13th and it's called "CONNcentric". I'm telling you this because my sculpture "Tucky" was accepted there!! Here is a pic...

isn't he cute?!

The week after Open Studios I took course 3 of the Gardening Study School sponsored by the Federated Garden Clubs of CT. It's a three day course and ends up with an exam... I haven't told you this but I love to garden that's why I take this kind of courses. And as you can see my love for nature is represented in many of my works.

To end up the three weeks of strenuous work
, between my art work, my plants and of course, my three children I ended up sick!!! oh yes, the allergy season!!! and this season has been the worst!! Don't you think?

It's too late now and I think I better go to sleep. I'll continue tomorrow, after I deliver some artwork to a gallery in Hartford...let you know later...bye!
