Also, wanted to let you know that there's still time to sign up for my upcoming workshop at Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, Connecticut:

MIXED MEDIA, WAX, AND THE ARTIST BOOK
Saturday & Sunday, Nov 29 - 30, 10am - 4pm

The Artist Book is a work of art in a traditional book form.

In this workshop, you will learn to alter and repurpose the elements of
a book. You will create 2 Artist Books, one, the accordion book, and
the other one by building its pages using plaster cloth, and other
materials. You will also learn to make Encaustic Medium, that will later
be applied to the books to protect them, and make them more sculptural.
Various mixed media and encaustic techniques will be introduced. You
are encouraged to bring personal items: such as photographs (printed
with toner based copies), imagery, twine, ribbons, fabric, natural
elements or old books. Materials included. Open to all levels.

Facility fee: $15
Cost: $160; members: $146
